Light, fruity, earthy. Solid blend that was better with food. Probably needed some more time to open up.

The last wine by the light of my Christmas stick.
Softened fruit, Mali added? Very much like a black cherry yogurt (fruit on the bottom) that has gone slightly off, the off being the acidity that keeps zinging..
This is closer in body and flavor to a Gamay, than it is to a Syrah / Cab /Merlot blend. Worth the tasting.
