Ridge Vineyards
Monte Bello Chardonnay
Salt and honeyed notes. Slate and a bit of apricot. Good stuff.

Oct 10th, 2024Bonkers. Loads of primary fruit. Seems like it was bottled yesterday. Explosive and just kind of mind altering. Hard to believe how this showed with such age.

Jun 30th, 2024Hmm. Lots of oak, buttery, lots of vanilla, moderate volume and a sweetness on the finish. Sub acid.
Starting to get going a week in… definitely gaining volume and complexity.

Big tropical fruits, lemon curd, luscious, yet retains acid in the end…maybe too much vanilla cream (oak) for me, but overall delicious after dinner and segway to whiskey around the fire….

May 24th, 2020Baby Chardonnay will super ripe fruit, creamy, a touch of vanilla and butter pits right where I love Chardonnay...but...that climate and region still able to hold a core of acid with a strong finish completes it...
