Good and drinkable, but nothing stand-out. A very "safe" wine...if you're not really a red person, this will probably be soft enough for you to like; if you are a red person, there won't be anything offensive to stop you drinking it - it just doesn't excite the palette or the brain. Ridge has a lot more in their arsenal than they used in this wine.

I always feel that Ridge is wasted wine when it's young. It's still made in a style that doesn't hit it's stride until after a decade passes. I like the stuffing here, just doesn't seem ready in my mind.
