Just released and so very young but this is going to be a great one. Beautiful, smooth and great structure. — 9 years ago
Structured and well made Chardonnay. Christophe is great at letting the wine shine through, not messing with the spice cabinet — 9 years ago
I haven't enjoyed a wine so much in awhile. Dried fruit and tea leaves. Not as concentrated as most ripassos. Pairs perfectly with Parmiggiano reggiano and onion balsamic spread. A great value — 9 years ago
Great bright fruit. Nothing complex but it is fresh, juicy, smooth and incredibly easy to drink. I would buy it again. — 9 years ago
Black currant, licorice and dusty from the volcanic like soil. The aromas jump out of the glass but the fruit in the background, not typical california style. The only part I don't like is the finish tastes like an oversteeped tea bags .Grace Benoist Ranch is such a special place. The 08 was the last vintage of this made and it is at its prime drinking time now — 9 years ago
I'm picking about California Chardonnay but this one was worth it — 9 years ago
Cassis on the nose and a bit of brett. The texture is so silky, I just can't get enough. I paired it with a creamy pasta dish which added to the mouthfeel. A bit of mushroomy earth quality as well. The alcohol and acid are in a good balance. 2006 vintage but important to note that it's a 375 so it aged a bit faster. — 9 years ago
Dry, zesty, big ripe nectarines and a bunch of flowers. The nose jumps out of the glass — 9 years ago

At a restaurant for a 1L at $35 I would say this is an excellent value — 9 years ago
