More advanced than it should be but still a highly enjoyable wine.

Old Bordeaux on the nose, old zin mouthfeel. Interesting, but might be getting close to the edge.

Caught it at an awkward time... Higher toned fruit, medium body, mellow acid. Just a little disjointed right now, alcohol comes through pretty strong.

Aging well (2019), full bodied, dry but smooth and full of flavor!

Jimsomere is always a great Zin! Love this dry, full bodied wine with a lot of flavor to enjoy

The oak sweetness is still quite present, but this is still very nice with some charred meats from the grill.

Right about at its prime, or perhaps would have been slightly more vibrant a year ago, but sultry, indulgent and beautiful. Excellent acidity, tertiary bramble and dried leaves, purple plum, prune, port; blackberry and eucalyptus.

I love Ridge Zins for their acidity and balance in the old world style. This is more of a California fruit bomb, and one of the only bottles from Ridge that I haven’t loved.
