Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Deep Ruby color with a bouquet of fruit, earthy herbs, tobacco and floral notes. On the palate flavors of sour cherry and raspberry with notes of herb pepper, floral and earthy notes. Medium+ finish, good balance with fine tannins ending with cacao, tobacco, fruit and earthy nutty notes.

This is clearly a nebbiolo but I wouldn’t call Barbaresco; harsh, acidic, greenish notes, not faulty, just not very high quality.

Pretty light for a Barbaresco.. but classic. Dried rose petals, tar, tobacco, dried red current, bing cherry. Ruby red, with a burnt orange rim, dry integrated tannins. Good value wine for sure, and very vibrant for 2011.. seemed much younger than that.

Light for Nebbiolo. Soft tannins and great meatiness to its aromas.

We were caught a little by surprise by the lightness of this Barbaresco. It was tasty but hardly a big Nebbiolo driven wine.

Good structure, velvet tannins, tar, flowers and sun ripened red fruits

Lovely wine.

Выпито 26.02.21 с К. в Минске. Несмотря на не очень высокие оценки у этого вина нам оно очень понравилось. Замечательный барбареско 2014 года. Очень нежный и мягкий неббиоло .Думаю при слепой дегустации я бы его перепутал с пино нуар.

Выпито 09.06.19 в Точке в Обнинске. Сегодня день памяти папы. Уже 14 лет его нет с нами. В такой день любое вино не почувствуешь. Хотя после 30 минут декантирования оно раскрылось. Хорошее, рабочее барбареско с очень долгим послевкусие. Но все равно - не мое.
