Subtly leafy, brambly, minty. Density without weight. Pure tart red fruit and gentle sweetness through the palate. Delicious.

Deep dark cherry color moderately translucent. Nose is powerful rich black cherry Pinot. In the mouth rich intense flavors of Pinot. Very reminiscent of a great Pommard except flavors are richer and less tannic. This is like the great Cote des Braine whereas Sonoma Pinot noir is more like Cote des Nuit.
