Alpine Vineyard Chardonnay

Just superb, oldest bottling I have had of the alpine vineyard and it fully delivered!

Wow this is def the ripest and richest Rhys chard I've tasted. Butter, tropical fruit

Spiced apple, mineral and toasty oak. Lovely now and over the next 2 years.

Delicious! 09 vintage and drinking right at its prime. Another year or two may be good for it but wow is this good now. Minerally and precise with beautifully balanced fruit. Stone fruits, lemon, and minolo tangerine.

Drinking younger than the last bottle I tried, well integrated oak, pure Chardonnay fruit with a twist of tangerine, and refreshing acidity on the finish, very good.

Finally a solid bottle of Chard for me this week, after two flawed bottles. This is great, mild lemon and orchard fruits with subtle oak notes. Light and great structure. Zippy acidity. I’m happy :)

Past its peak, in my opinion.

The color is surprisingly advanced for a 2009, but the palate is still relatively fresh. Nice tropical fruit and butterscotch with lively acidity. I would not take the chance of holding this much longer.

A broad ripe nose with a hint of grapefruit. Lush, and a touch tropical. A bit of heat.

Riper than the 2007 and 2008, with tangerines, very good, but not up to the others.
