Structured. Broad shouldered chard. Missing the greentea and diacetyl from the 2010s. Maybe baby fat on the 10s. Perfect balance.

A little subdued right now, but as it opened with some air, I think it just needs more time

Styled to last, but feels like vines were just too young to produce the intensity

Very bright. Soft peach with delicate citrus and a waxy, slightly honeyed warmth. Expansive on the nose with some mineral notes.

A little fuller bodied and showing more wood than the 2007,, bit still terrific.

Golden yellow color. Great acidity. Well integrated. Awesome brioche and lemon curd combo. Awesome balance. One of my fave Rhys charts to date. I never give them this much cellar time and I should going forward.

So classy, as close to white Burgundy as you'll find in CA!
