Alesia Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay

Green apple, lemon cream , green pear,

Green apple, green pear, underripe tropical fruits, slight vanilla. For the price, this wine is a bargain and delicious.

Pop and pour. I was mildly shocked about how well this showed. On the nose: bright meyer lemon, lime, vanilla, soft almond, and citrus leaf. On the palate: lovely acidity, loads of limestone minerality, lemon, grapefruit, mineral oil, and lovely density on the finish. Wow. Stunning.

Perfect expression of Santa Cruz mountains Chardonnay or perfect expression of Chardonnay, excellent balance of fruit to acid.

Longtime fan of Rhys and this wine did not disappoint. Well balanced with plenty of acidity, the wine was still round and satisfying on the palate. Great with every dish on the table at this stunning new restaurant.

Lovely and elegant wine showing citrus notes, a dash of oak and some mineral and herbal nuances.
