The blend 85% Shiraz & 15% Cabernet.
The nose reveals, smoke, pepper, black rich turned earth, rubber toy/band aid equals some VA, black licorice, blackberries, dark cherries, mixed blue fruits, black raspberries, strawberries on the glass edges, vanillin, light dark spice, alluvial soils and minerals with fresh dark red/blue flower with violets.
The body is fairly light to medium for Shiraz blend. Although, it has dry, pronounced, powdery, sticky tannins. Smoke, pepper, black rich turned earth, rubber toy/band aid also on the palate, Black licorice, blackberries, dark cherries, mixed blue fruits, black raspberries, strawberries on the glass edges, vanillin, light dark spice, alluvial soils and minerals, dry stone, chewy leather, dry crushed rocks, with fresh dark red/blue flower with violets. The acidity is good. The finish has ripe fruit and punchy earthiness. This wine will need at least five years in bottle to reveal its better self.

Jan 14th, 201417.5/20 (93/100) Далеко не каждый винтаж у Reyneke удаётся, но 2018 очень хорош. Много пряностей: кардамон и гвоздика, спелые чёрные ягоды: черника и ежевика, нотка ментола. Тельное с высокой кислотностью и интенсивными, обволакивающими, немного суховатыми танинами. Насыщенное во вкусе с продолжительным послевкусием. Отлично!
