What a showing. Big classic nose of black and red cherries, spice, mashed flowers and a firm core of mineral. Lurid, feral and brooding yet also sweet and seductive. Insanely great aromas. Palate is a bit backwards now but show the high class terroir Pierrick Bouley is working with here. Great freshness and length and also ample structure. Insane length. Better in 3-4 years but wow.

Pascal Bouley Beaune Tuerons 1er Cru - terrific purity and density, excellent density and length. Very small tiny fruits.

Sadly corked so I won’t rate it. The fruit is great. Bright as hell. Crackling acidity. Hint if licorice. I’d rate it a 9.3 based on the palate.
