Jacob-Hart Vineyard Pinot Noir

Gorgeous, subtle, feminine single vineyard WVPN.

2001 vintage. Wet potting soil, dried herbs, black cherry, bay leaf and peppercorn. M acid, body and tannin. Great structure.

1997 vintage. Red cherry, strawberry, and cranberry. Allspice, rose and a bit of damp earth. Still very fresh on the nose. M+ acid, m- body. M- silky tannin. Long finish. Very impressive.

2013 Vintage- Oh good lord! Opened this the night we found out we passed WSET Advanced w/merit! It was everything I wanted it to be and more. An exceptional wine from one of my top 3 Oregon producers! #pinot #rexhillvineyards

2012 vintage. Slightly corked. M- intensity. M acid, body and tannin. Candied cherry on the palate.

2008 vintage. Great nose. Fruit forward - red cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. M+ acid, m body and tannin. M finish. A bit watery and thin on the palate.

2007 vintage. Wet earth and black cherry. M- intensity. M acid, body, and tannin. A bit simple.

2005 vintage. Very floral and a touch of perfume. Strawberry, red cherry. Wet stone. Very aromatic. M+ acid, m body, m- tannin. Long finish. Very elegant.

Outstanding.

It's a big boy, all the dark fruits are present & accounted for. Probably better after breathing.
