2004 out of a 1/2 bottle... Still with plenty of life & years to age, the wine showed concentration, complex integrated flavors, & was well balanced, rich, & delicious. Cassis, cocoa, blackberry compote, pepper... quite the example of Heidi Barrett styled Napa Cabernet.

Drank with Elissa, mom, and Janis. Pork loin with fig sauce, and maple syrup sweet potatoes. Richness in wine resulted in a great pairing. Cherry, blueberry, and blackberry fruit. Finish leans almost port-like. Only fault could be slightly uneven finish. But same bottle 2 years ago was great, so probably at end of life.
