I love, love, love Grüner Veltliner & this is an incredible wine. Tropical paradise in a bottle. Pineapple, Key Lime, lemon zest, orange blossom. Gorgeous acidity slices through the fruitiness to give a lovely balance. Lasting finish, refill necessary.

I'm usually partial to reds, but this 2012 Gruner from Reustle is really exceptional! Crisp with a play of tropical fruit...a real treat this evening!

We don’t drink a lot of Grüner Veltliners, but we thoroughly enjoyed this one. Light and well balanced. Surprisingly subtle acidity for a German style wine, at least in comparison with Rieslings. Subtle aromas of green melon and papaya. Not sure how this compares with other Grüner Veltliners at $24, but compared with other white wines in general, I would probably buy it again at that price.

This is an excellent gruner that I would stack up against any other in its price category. A bit light on the nose with blossom, peach, and just a bit of dry earth. Palate is intense with bright acidity, peach, soft and sweet spices. Body is medium and demonstrates that this was a warm year, accentuating the fresh fruit with an apparent sweetness. Finish is long and beautiful.
