Our first inaugural vintage as Reuling vineyard! The favorable location and microclimate of the Reuling Vineyard enabled our Pinot Noir to develop impressive density and beautiful aromatics. Harvest took place on September 30th, prior to fall rains, and a 12-day native yeast fermentation followed. The resulting wine has aromatics of exotic spice, blue and black fruits as well as a gentle minerality. On the palate this wine has incredible balance. It possesses a soft entry coupled with acidity and has a lush, broad mid-palate with a lingering smooth finish. Let us know your thoughts!

My fellow tasting companion suggested a resemblance to Pommard and I can see that. We also tasted 2013 barrel-samples of various clones/components - oh boy!...Mailing List members are in for a treat there!
