Distant but deep cassis aroma. Supremely earthy, woody with some layers of spice, cocoa and dark coffee. There are soft tannins across the background. I’m looking for more cherry and dark fruit flavors in a #chianticlassicoriserva - this bottle might have been a bit oxidized.
