Vanilla painted brambleberry. Metallic berried licorice. Soft jam and blackberry bunches. Full bodied surface. Good, but not anything special. Does not speak to my soul.

Taste a little like I would imagine a Zin grown in the Northern Rhône. Nose has maple syrup, sweet blackberry, and surprising granitic minerality. Equal parts savory and fruity in the mouth. Ripe but not jammy. Very full but the acids are decent and the tannin is very soft and fine. Nice effort!

Apr 26th, 2017Smokey oaky cab nose upon opening with mouthfeel of a velvety Zinfandel. Later opens up to blackberry fruit-forward yumminess. Just takes ten minutes.

Rich jammy and mascarpone. Cherry and vanilla aromas. Toasty, warm and delicious flavors swimming in a broth of mint jelly, tobacco, raspberry, blueberry and sourdough. Big Zin fruit bats take note!
