Wow. Notes to come but one of the best qpr champagnes I’ve had in recent memory.
We’ve been drinking a bottle of bubbles every night because it’s Em’s birthday week and also for good luck as we wait to hear back on the offer we made on a house. In this upside-down world I think this makes sense

Dec 9th, 202075 PN 25 CH, 7g/L dosage, 1/2017 disgorgement, SS and full malo. Ripe, exuberant, brimming with autolysis notes. Baked apple, tangelo, strawberry candy, brioche, pastry cream, sweet spices, subtle minerality. A juicy and aromatic NV cuvée that’s pure joy in the glass

Nov 30th, 2019Red fruits, particularly raspberry and cherry, and a little sourdough yeastiness on the nose. On the palette, the wine is crisp, tart, and clean. More nuances came out with food (in my case, shrimp in tomato sauce). Pretty tasty if you like a red fruit dominant champagne. 75/25% Pinot noir/chardonnay. 12% ABV.
