A near perfect Italian red to pair with a great red sauce pasta meal: mature red fruits, commanding on the nose and dry finish on the palate - but all done in a way as to or distract from the meal you are enjoying. Would pour this with any red meat/red sauce/string cheese as it makes a perfect dance partner for a wonderful evening!

Italian wine beginner here, that being said, this wine is so easy to drink! With food is better though. At first taste you know it's Italian, earthy spice and tobacco, then follows the fruit. Strawberry and raspberry before ending with very capable acidity that can finish any meat. And yes it's young for nebbiolo, but very drinkable and not obviously tight.

This had been open a number of hours before I tried it. On the nose: soft, earthy impressions, light wild strawberry....the color suggests this might have some rose inclinations. Good acidity and lightness on the palate, which is interrupeted by some more serious nebbiolo tannins. Tasty, but slightly disjointed on the end for my tastes.

Tasty wine, but needs 2-3 years more to mature.
