This is my favorite day two sleeper wine, following my notes from prior bottles this was opened a day in advance and had one glass poured for immediate enjoyment. The bottle was than stoppered and out to rest on the enclosed porch where the temps never got much past the low-30's (F).

So here we arrive prior notes are still quite good, these bubbles never give up!

Nose has white peach, green pear and crushed limestone for days.
Palate has a creamy mousse of lemon, honey and saline minerality.

Great bottle when you plan ahead!

Rhone sparkler, 100% Marsanne, blend of 2013/2014 vintages.

Nose is very mineral-ly and under-ripe peach, still a little tight.

Bubbles are just super fine, wow.

Palate is mineral, quince, honey, citrus pith, saline notes, kind of a light chalky finish, interesting.

24hr Update: Bubbles still holding strong. A stunning mouthful of a creamy mousse of lemon, honey and saline minerality. Note to future self, open this a day in advance for maximum satisfaction.

Showing really well. Pear, peach and intense Marsanne minerals on the nose. Gorgeous balance and texture. Glorious. Showing so well right now. Honey comb on nose after air. Super fine bubbles and nice grip.

Most underrated wine Lyle has sold. Rich. Nutty. Delicious. But without that irritating northern Rhine over ripeness. A steal Need to get more.

Out of the bottle has some bitterness. Needs thirty minutes in the glass. Really interesting after it settles. Delicious and rich Dry. Some honey on the finish. If you like sparkling wine you should try this. Either decant or wait after each pour thirty minutes to taste.
