2011- nose was intoxicating after a long day of travel. Couldn't bring myself to pay 30 bones for a glass, as I was wined out. A Manhattan was the call at that point. Nevertheless, a fantastic wine that would love to revisit.

Almost too clean and focused. Toasty barrels opens to orange peel, black cherry, black licorice, dried thyme. Very silky and polished finish.

Nose is especially attractive, with seductive notes spice, black tea, orange peel, and black cherry. It has plenty of power, though silky and refined in the mouth with ripe tannins and a minerally cord weaving it together. Slight sweetness on a long, heady finish. Great concentration.

17/20 (92/100) Подозрительно хорошо для коммунальной Бургундии. Красивый аромат с нотами кожи, кофе, чёрных ягод развивается в бокале в сторону засахаренных красных ягод и шоколада. Довольно тельное с высокой кислотностью и мягкими танинами. Вкус немного отстаёт от аромата.
