1959 Clos de Vougeot. Opened at Casanova's over outstanding lamb and gnocchi after a tasting event. Out of magnum.

Immediate gratification. I was mostly impressed by the balance. While the arc of drink ability was short (15 or so minutes), the mouth feel was amazing, full mature fruit, hints of tannin and smoke.
