This wine has great heft, and i s not as ripened as some Pinotage I have had. This wine has a thick sugar free jaminess to it, stand up, not overbearing tannins. Little acidity, this has the harmony of well made wine.

A blend first developed in South Africa. Dry and imperfect, like a pearl, assaulted by sand and time before being scooped up my a scientific research vessel.

Jan 11th, 2020Very big on spice with a nice smoke to it, but not as much fruit as some other pinotages. Full bodied. Richness. Heavier and not as light as other pinotages. Big acidity.
