My first Chenin from South Africa, and my first time with this producer. Smells of baked apple and beeswax with a touch of honeysuckle aromatics and rich lemon oil. It’s viscous yet acidic. Bold. Touch of honeycomb sweetness with white peach, tart stone fruits and Granny Smith apple crisps notes on the palate. Delicious! Thanks to my buddy @David L for this! On the hunt to get more!

Medium gold; medium intensity aromas of lemon, yellow apple, green apricot, lemon blossom, pineapple, limestone, wet wool, baking spices; dry, medium acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors of baked yellow apple, ripe juicy peach, ripe apricot, pineapple juice, cinnamon, cloves; medium finish, flavors much riper than aromas, would benefit from higher acid
