The Haarts have papers showing land ownership in Mosel since 1337 and they are located in Piesport. This Goldtröpfchen riesling GG from a great vintage is clear light golden in color; has a nose of lemons, tart apples, and minerals; and a pronounced acidity that carries into the end on a wave of pears, lime, and other fruits and a good salinity.

So the 15s shut down for a while, but the 16s appear not to have. This is very good right now. On the nose: honey, citrus, peach, tarragon, a touch of mint. On the palate, good acidity, lime, honey, lovely texture...slightly waxy with juicy lime and some white pepper on the finish.
