Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc

Blackberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry, loamy earth and spice. Good structure and soft tannins.

2012 w a nice grass fed steak, shrooms and broccoli. This changed so dramatically over 60 mins; bright and punchy to real earthy to a soft, almost thick, smoky cherry finish. Lots of acid, tart almost citrusy. Red Newt is a special place and the wine shows.

Used to make honey crisp apple Sangria

Medium body red, dry w/ nice legs, cherry - berry flavors w/ a mild lime acid finish, pair w/ rustic beef stew. (Less acid / more spice after approximately 90 minutes of decanting)

Interesting spicy/smokey flavor and not too harsh.

Spicy and good. finger lakes have been upping their game. This wine can stand up to whatever you got.
