Nice. Oak. Not quite as bramblyly integrated as Loire, but lovely new world example. Feed it food.

Deeply purplish garnet color. Understated nose with simple fruitiness and a hint of tobacco. Opened this@bottle aweek ago and drank the last glass and a half tonight’s dinner. Crisp acidity held the wine together amazingly well and highly drinkable, even a week later. How interesting might this wine be in a few years or a decade?

Finger lakes cab franc is so great. Some dark fruits, herbs, underbrush and spice on the nose; medium bodied with a lot of expressive mid palate flavor with decent acidity.

A tad green. Herbaceous. Could use a bit more refinement.

Dried leaves, warm fall flavors but a bit acidic. Very drinkable.

Very lively dark fruit, with very little acidity showing through. Good on first taste but a whole lot better after airing out for a while. Next time I’ll let it set for a couple of years before opening.
