Big, rich, lovely, powerful red. Best wine of the ole tasting.

Pulled the last of several bottles purchased near release in 2014 out of my cellar. This wine has been underwhelming throughout the six years I’ve sampled bottles. Never got the ripe, floral, or mineral notes describe elsewhere. Always cam off as tart and tight. Not bad with a flavorful meal but never lived up to the hype

2010: dried flower, sweet spices like cardamom, earthy complex bouquet for relatively young wine. Long lasting finish.
