Ultreia Bierzo Godello
Surprisingly easygoing and restrained, but honest and of course very well made. Perhaps a bit aromatically challenged at the moment, but there is excellent grip and salinity on the palate. Needs time. *Updated review*: Spectacular on the 3rd night. Pitch perfect balance of fruit and acidity, richness and focus. It has developed a nice chamomile note on the finish with much more pronounced salinity as well. The combination of nerve and texture reminds me why I love Godello so much.

Jan 24th, 2021This is just like... what I crave from white wine. Deeply textured but crisp as a Lays. Def a creamy note I don’t associate with godello, but still has a searing mineral edge to it. Grilled pineapple, white flowers, homemade whipped cream, some golden raisin (I know I know)
