Elegant and beautifully structured white that unfurled for hours. Medium + bodied with striking acidity, this was ripe citrus and orchard fruit with crushed rock and the salinity I want in Godello.

Jul 1st, 2022Dry, elegant Godello from three sites around Valtuille de Abajo in Bierzo, Raúl Pérez’ hometown. Fermented in used barrels. Austere nose with notes of grapefruit and lime. Mineral, lightly saline, reminiscent of classic Chablis. Nice, slightly bitter finish.
