I forgot to snap a photo so I’m using stock. This is a different Gruner. It’s not crisp and steely, but instead warm and viscous. Plenty of spice, but not white pepper - mostly coriander and clove and baking spices. It has qualities that aren’t so dissimilar from a Belgian Ale. Low acid lets a medley of bruised apples, pear, and ripe lychee sing away.

Stony with a bit of grapefruit and melon on the nose. Very restrained.

Green fruit, chalk and sweeter spice on the nose. Upfront minerality on the palate with sour green apple following. As it opens up it gains similarities to a Burgundian Chardonnay.
