In a few minutes in the glass varies in the direction of balsamic and truffle tones. Medium acidity, medium smooth tannins, medium body, medium alcohol, medium + flavour intensity: ripe red and black berries. Medium, dusty finish. Good wine, drink till 2017.

Малина, вишня сушеная, красные ягоды, корица, тутовник, настой красного чая. Сложный, комплексный аромат с развитием, очень недурно. Вкус, впрочем, далек от идеала - с все еще ершистыми танинами, горечью в финале, чуть редукции. Вкус убивает весь позитив от аромата; усредненное 15,5/20.

I know I haven't been online for a while, but that doesn't mean that I haven't got any new ingesting stuff. Russian #Raevskoe #Wine House and #Renaissance 2012. 2011 actually was better, so you should keep this wine. Meaty, full bodied and extra tannic wine, you should open it 3 (!) days in advance to drink. Excellent aromas, but a bit unbalanced with not so delicate bitterness in the end. Powerful dark fruits underneath strong oak cover. My bottle was opened for three days and every day the wine become better and better. Russian wine is quite popular in light of recent events. And this wine is one of the best on the market.
