Riviera Cannonau Di Sarsegna

Pretty slick Cannonau. Focused, elegant, plenty of purity without losing its soulful charm. High-toned, ripe wild strawberries, crushed cherry, confiture, white pepper, sweet medicinal herbs, rocks and flowers. Has a great core of fruit with plenty of umami to back it all up. Bright acid with charmingly textured, gritty tannin.

Great value for the price point! Plus my mom told me that sardegnans live forever because of all the cannonau they drink so figured might as well explore it. Great Kermit import.

Bright and pure with pretty aromatics of fresh-cut flowers, cherry candy, and dried coastal Mediterranean herbs. A sip is light on the palate yet filled with ripe fruit and a coiled, mineral finish perhaps not so surprisingly similar to many Corsican wines.

A fine table wine, a tad harsh

Cannonau = Grenache. Fairly bright, nice minerality. Grown in limestone. Light body with decent extraction / depth of fruit - yet remains lean. Red berries, earth. citrus.. really comes together after an hour of air. I dig it hard for $23.

This is fun. Sweet cherry. Love the color. Hate the weather. This wine is growing on me plus I get to watch The Martian and the Pens just won
