More CA than Burg at first sip…stayed that way throughout. Good wine in any case.

I wonder if this bottle was off. Or it needs a week open. But it was awful at first. No fruit. After 3 hours showed some promise, for sure but sorry I don’t want to wait three hours.

A collaboration between Justin Willett (Tyler Santa Barbara) and Etienne de Montille et al. from Burgundy. 100bucks. Plum and strawberry compote nose. Stemy - Oregano, touch black tea. Quite soft and not very tannic. Hint orange zest. Good stuff but not a wow wine and certainly not for 100$. 12.7%.
