Wow. This was an absolutely stunning btl of Syrah. On the nose: violets, olive brine, bacon, soft vanilla cream, blackberry, dried blackberry, soft leather...amazing complexity. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density, pure syrah fruit, and very soft tannin on the finish.

Blackberries, braised meat with hints of violets and olives on the nose. Complex and well balanced mid of blueberry and plum up front, evolving into more developed earthy notes, wet stone and spices. Finishes long with chalky tannins and pleasant salinity. Drinking well now but has life to keep going...extremely enjoyable Syrah.
