Crazy good wine for less than $20 US, great fruit and acidity from the family owned (who are remarkably nice people) winery in the under appreciated Lisboa DO.

45/30/25 Touriga N. /Syrah/Alicante B., fermented in lagares, aged 22m in French oak This is a quite serious, elegant, rich red. Spicy dark fruit, orange peel, a herby whiff, a touch of cocoa powder. Restrained, cool and elegant. Enticing, too. Nice creaminess on the palate, the tannins quite present but nicely polished & juicy, the acidity fresh. Medium bodied, impeccably balanced and poised, elegant. The 14.5% alc perfectly integrated & unnoticeable. Good depth and super long, enticing finish with a dark chocolate note at the end. Drinking beautifully right now and quite a joy. Delish!
