Torre de Azevedo Vinho Verde White Blend

Blend of Albariño and Loureira, pale lemon color with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate flavors of mango and tart lemon citrus, vivid acidity, medium finish ending with crisp citrus mineral character.

Light, tropical fruits and citrus, acidity but nothing harsh. Refreshing - not masses going on but drinkable and decent for the price.

Spritzy, citrusy quaffer great for 8 bucks. Limey and totally dry

Still paired well with spicy Asian food.

Loved this. Paired really well with spicy Moroccan chicken thighs.

I used my txakoli pour spout on this still which aerated the wine and made it more effervescent. Drank like a Basque txakoli at that point. Profile is similar but more tropical. Not very complex but perfect aperitif on a hot summer day! Acidity has dayz!!!
