Primus Dão Encruzado

My first and possibly only Encruzado I'll ever have the pleasure of tasting.

One of the better whites I have tried from Portugal ever, this is a superbly fresh, with a fleshly and juicy mid palate finishing a little viscous, but clean. Extremely vivid in the nose and palate of white fruits and flowers, excellent!

Quite possibly best white I've ever tasted

Rich and mouthfull white, with good acidity and a long finish

16/20 (88/100) Аромат яблока, груши, лимонов, ананаса и белых цветов. Умеренная тельность, высокая, немного резкая кислотность. Хорошо сделанное, но не комплексное вино.

В аромате мякоть спелого лимона, ракушки, пыль. Субтильный, свежий и чистый нос. Морской бриз, солёный арахис, легкая взвесь опилок. Среднетелое-, с отличной концентрацией и высокой кислотностью. Во вкусе лимон, апельсин, тальк, свежий ананас, тонкие синтетические ноты (каучук, металл). Очень лёгкая сливочность, придающая объём; солоноватое послевкусие. Элегантно. 17/20

Sophisticated and quite complicated for Portuguese wine. Loving it!

Great blend of bay leave, citrus, tree fruit and a hint of barrel fermentation.
