2009
First 30 minutes was like a torrid, passionate explosion of red fruits, pepper and leather. Very intense at that time but if you open, drink one glass right away.
After 30 minutes, flavors calmed and melded into a smooth drink
Had the rest on day 2 after preserving overnight. Lost too much intensity on day 2
Great drink. Will be best 2016-17

One of our favorite regions. Aged to a nice mellow profile.

Quilceda Creek 2009 Red Wine. Their second wine. Wow. I want to buy more. This is NOT second wine quality. Much more than that.

Flavors of blackberry, coffee, iron and dark cherries on the nose and palate. Drinking very well. Medium finish.

This was fantastic. Really bold, great on the nose, really does well compared to Napa cabs
