Would, of course, be excellent with any meat dish, but absolutely perfect with cheesy, meaty pasta dishes such as Lasagna or Baked Ziti, etc...along with a rich chocolatey dessert, like double chocolate fudge cake or chocolate mousse, etc!
Reasonable price for a wine that will impress your guest's!
