Had the ‘15 and jumped at chance to taste another vintage and it was equally as enjoyable. Such a delicious, amiable wine, great aromatics out of the gate, very accessible and not showing any signs of age. This shows like a middle of the road Medoc and is balanced & smooth.

Raspberry and Plum with earthy notes on the nose. There is a bloody, irony touch too. The palate is rather thin, light bodied, with a good acid drive, some raspberry notes all along, a bit of width but an ethereal matter on the sides. There is a very light tannic effect in the rear that leaves a subtle drying layer over a rather fruity finish. This is simple and light and fresh. Good moldovan Red.

Mar 24th, 2023Moldovan wine and it was terrific. Bordeaux blend, Old World textbook Left Bank, not showing much signs of age, still inky & fruit forward. Nicely balanced on mid-palate, generous & elegant through finish.
