Very fruit forward for a Barbera. Thoroughly enjoyable and delicious with a fine Italian veal meatballs. Enjoy it for what it is. I don’t think it will become any more complex than it is now. Which is fine with me.

Black fruit, earthy, hints of coarse mulch. Light tannins, could decant to soften. Smooth finish, medium in duration. Went well with a morel mushroom, prosciutto pizza with a drizzle of truffle oil

An explosion of red berries, exciting at the beginning, although no stronger lasting notes/depth this is still a v pleasing & enjoyable wine :)
