Oh my god, after an attempt to chase good wine on Long Island where I mostly drank terrible Merlot on the red side, I come back to the real world with that wine and I love it. Super dense and powerful cote rotie. Quite wild, may be a bit more on the Cornas side but gosh, we're absolutely in the Syrah for northern rhone, no doubt. Quintessential, as the name says! silence - on boit
