Hmm... This wine is falling short for me. Not a lot of there there. This is a 2010. There is no reduction and I had expected some but there is very little fruit. This is all dirt. Going to give it time though as I just opened it. I've had various vintages if this wine going way back to the 1940's and I can't say any of the we're all that interesting to me. I thought a more recent vintage might shed more light on it but it seems it's the same rather uninteresting wine, only younger. — 8 months ago

Wow! Gahier has always been my favorite Chardonnay from the Jura with the exception of Ganevat but this one was right up there with the very best from this region. This was a 2010 vintage so that little bit of age may very well have really helped. So darn tasty! I must get more. — 8 months ago
Wow! Such an amazing Pinot Rosé! Close your eyes and you could almost be drinking a light Burgundy Rouge. The mineralogy is very much present here and more so than I've experienced in any Rosé save for maybe some Pinot Rosé from Chavignol. — 7 months ago
Interesting plastic notes that went really well with the bread and butter pickles we put on our super mega delicious burgers made with lamb, pork, and buffalo. We thought the usual Beaujolais would not cover it and this wine was particularly good with them 13% alcohol made it nice and food friendly. Some floral notes and lovely red currants and not a lot of oak at all. — 8 months ago
