Chianti Classico Sangiovese

Vintage 2016 | 375 cl | Solid Sangiovese, paired with pumpkin lasagne | Second day with a bottom in the bottle, more charm, so needs aeration

It’s has a very salty flavor

Bright ruby red color. Aromas of red cherry, coffee, wet potting soil and leather. Dark cherry, chocolate, meat and a note of iron or graphite on the palate. Hint of orange zest on the finish. Very dry and much to savory as the fruit is far in the background. Velvety texture and silky tannins. Medium bodied and lively acidity, but somewhat out of balance. Not my favorite Chianti. I don't like chianti. This one is like, good.

Light & fruity. Easy to drink and enjoyable.
