Chianti Classico Sangiovese

Does the job but glorified Sangiovese. Maybe turkey dinner wasn’t the right pairing but I wasn’t particularly impressed.

Red fruit comes immediately on nose. Well balance.Pair with pork and was fantastic match.

Light yet savory, not fruity. Made some coconut basil pesto pasta to serve with. Amazing. Love me a good Sangiovese.

It’s has a very salty flavor

Bright ruby red color. Aromas of red cherry, coffee, wet potting soil and leather. Dark cherry, chocolate, meat and a note of iron or graphite on the palate. Hint of orange zest on the finish. Very dry and much to savory as the fruit is far in the background. Velvety texture and silky tannins. Medium bodied and lively acidity, but somewhat out of balance. Not my favorite Chianti. I don't like chianti. This one is like, good.

Light & fruity. Easy to drink and enjoyable.
