Reserve Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

This reminds me of a great trip with the Growler. We just had a great lunch with Tor at Martini House in Yountville.

No hard edges, super elegant, super young

Big ripe flavors of berry, plum, cassis, silky, balanced with its fresh acidity showing notes of cedar, mocha & spice

Beautiful dark fruits & spice that is just reaching its peak drinking window showing good balance with a silky mouthfeel

Excellent wine

2004 Pride Reserve Cabernet. This is a beauty. Delicious with dark fruits and nice concentration. Tannins are softened but still a long ways to go. Drank this with my wife at our daughters 16th birthday.

A little closed at first but after letting it breathe for 90 minutes the richness and complexity shows. An earthly nose and flavors of sour cherry and tobacco. Wonderful experience...
