I forgot how much I enjoy Pride wines and was happy to find one in the cellar. Vibrant and rich, dark red fruit on the nose, raspberries, brown sugar, slight earthy/mushroom. Silky entry with big red fruit, a touch of vanilla, full bodied, sweet tannins. A great wine.

Great wine. Has smoothed out with time. Dark fruit, good acid, silky tannin. It's at its prime now. I think it's got 6 more months before it declines.

The wine gods have smiled and urged me to open this ‘08 Pride cab. Tobacco, plum, a hint of wood ash and leather from a well-worn saddle bag. Seriously, this is at a premium place in its aging process. Thinking only another 2-3 years, so pop ‘em if you got ‘em. Toasting all of you, my friends, for a prosperous new year filled with wine, family and friends!
