Pott Wines (Aaron & Claire Pott and Daughters)
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Hitting on all cylinders! Drinking really well. Previous notes apply from a year ago. @Aaron Pott nice job with this blend. Paired nicely with rosemary marinated frenched lamb chops.

Aug 14th, 2018Actually its the Napa Cabernet, no name. Its their 2nd label sort of speak, $60.00 wine that fits the taste of an early drinkers drink. Typical Pott wines need years to open up,
Just received it, so I'm taking her for a spin straight off the truck.
No particular vineyard, just a blend of whatever cabs from napa according to their website,.
Its not bad at all, just not distinctive at this very early stage, tastes like a $40-$60 bottle,

Very solid. Lighter than A Pott’s usual fare but enjoyable.

1 person found it helpfulOct 6th, 2020Much more approachable then other wines in the Pott portfolio. Cardamom, cinnamon, anise and five spice hit the nostrils. Nice! Roasted coffee and sage on the front of the palate-rolls to the mid with striking acidity, long tapering finishing that highlights dried floral flavors.

Nov 12th, 2021A nice showing from Aaron Pott. Balanced. Not overly fruit forward, mellow tannins.

Apr 21st, 2020Just arrived on the FedEx truck yesterday, and I couldn’t resist opening a bottle right away. Delicious and full of black and blue fruit. Very youthful and will benefit from a bit of rest before opening more. Don’t let the 2017 vintage scare you, Aaron Pott did a beautiful job with this wine. Tremendous value for the money as well.
