A blend of 50% Cab Sauvignon and 50% Syrah and aged for 22 months in 75% new French oak. Interesting blend, aromas of dark berry fruits and sweet spices. On the palate ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors with cacao, pepper and gentle oak. Well balanced, soft tannins, lingering ending with a sweet fruit character.

Nice, dry Napa red blend. Pretty well balanced and just about ideal now.

Jul 25th, 2020Pencil shavings on nose. Bold, dry, black cherry forward, oak and some tannins follow on the backend. Opened bottle and nursed over 2 hours (no decanter in hotel)...wine opened and softened nicely.
